PPE at a range starts with eye protection (impact-rated safety glasses) and ear protection (muffs, plugs, or both — a 25+ NRR is a reasonable target). Long sleeves and a closed neckline help with hot brass burns. “Eyes and ears” is the universal call to don PPE before going hot.
