Sight Alignment
Centering the front sight in the rear sight notch with equal light on both sides.
Sight alignment is the relationship of the sights to each other — front sight centered horizontally and vertically in the rear sight notch, equal light on either side. This is independent of the target. With a red dot, sight alignment is automatic — you only need sight picture (dot on the target).
